The development team is wrapping up all development operations - for now - and working getting its first users. Some schools have already signed up for a trial, which will start in late march. ParentLocker's marketing team is currently working on getting the best listings available for large search engines like Google, Yahoo, and MSN, plus some other large marketing audiences like Facebook.
On the development end, ParentLocker just released two major additions:
* The Media Center: The media center allows schools to upload their own videos, sounds, music or any other media they may want parents, students, and faculty to see. The media center, in addition to the photo albums allows for great parent interaction from home, plus a virtual theatre where great school memories can be archived.
* Community Pages: Community Pages are a great way to have your school develop an online network between teachers, parents and students. Each school course, club, sports team or any other group has a page that boasts its own calendar, files, discussion center, and other cool gadgets.
